Lino Printmaking Club!

A six week course taught by Lisa Feyen of Ink Moth Studios.

Lino Club is a series of 6 weekly evening classes at CAN where you will discover the wide variety of options this medium offers. Suitable for students who have previously tried some printmaking with lino and understand the concept of relief printmaking.
Guided by experienced tutor and practicing printmaker Lisa Feyen from Ink Moth Print Studio, you will work on multiple blocks to produce a limited edition of fine art prints in a range of colours. During the six-week course you will explore a range of techniques for adding and playing with colour, including collage (chine colle), colour blending, and using collaged backgrounds. You will even have a play with etching lino to create some fantastic textural effects!

What to bring:
The first two blocks of lino are included in the course fee, with more lino blocks available to purchase at the class as needed (eftpos available). You are encouraged to bring good quality A4 paper for printing your edition. Inks and equipment will all be available to use at the workshops.

Details:

In line with the current Covid-19 protection framework CAN is at the orange setting, please wear a mask and observe social distancing when entering and moving about the CAN venue. Vaccine certificates are not required.
