Exhibition

Something Fishy

Lisa Loveday

Date: Mar 1 – Mar 31Space: Foyer

‘Something Fishy’ is Lisa Loveday‘s first solo exhibition since she took painting two years ago.

Lisa’s love of the ocean and her move to Whirinaki Beach has inspired this ocean themed exhibition.

The playful mixed media works uses hand printed papers, on a gelli plate, as either backgrounds or in her work as collage.  This gives the paintings a textural look and feel.  She uses acrylic paints on quality paper which is either framed or treated with an artist’s wax to preserve the textural surface without it needing to be behind glass.

View and purchase from Lisa’s ‘Something Fishy’ collection in the CAN Foyer throughout March 2024.

You can view her work on her Facebook or Instagram page – Lisa Loveday Artist
