Sentient Beings

by Felicity Larsen

Date: Jul 1 – Jul 31Space: Workshop

This exhibition is a small work of art that tells a story of how humans and creatures are as one. Look into the eyes of each animal and see yourself as their guardian, as their voice. This is how Felicity wants you to feel when you see these pieces. They tell a story in their eyes, it could be a cat, a rodent, a frog or a dog; they are all sentient beings and deserve as much attention as we do. Flick wants these works of art to move you; they are one with us. They care like we do.

About the artist:

“My name is Felicity Larsen, I have been intrigued by art my entire life and have had many years of practice. I am studying a certificate of animal care at the Eastern Institute of Technology currently and this had inspired me to create art works that are animal based/skeletal. I am self taught through the help of my nana and mother’s artistic skills that they hold. I am estatic to see where my art goes from here.”
