Enter into the world of embroidery where stories are told through stitch.
These pieces are a combined effort from 5 guilds reaching from Waipukurau to Gisborne – CHB Needleworkers, Hawke’s Bay Embroiderers Guild, Needleworkers HB, Wairoa Embroiderers Guild and Gisborne Embroiderers Guild. They use a variety of techniques and materials that cover traditional to contemporary embroidery.
Our embroiderers’ guilds exist to build an awareness and appreciation of stitch and textile art. We educate, encourage, inspire and promote the achievement of excellence.
Opening night Friday 16th May 5-7pm.
