Kia mau te tokanga nui a noho – There’s no place like home

“I enjoy creating works that show my fascination with landscape. More specifically I am interested in the structures of land above and below and what happens when we strip the land bare, often with the only marks on the land being human constructions. My works speak of journeys both time and soul based as we interact with the land we live in, care for and leave for the next generations.” – Sandra Howlett
