Rural Meets Urban

by Bam and Robyn Gilbertson

Date: Aug 29 – Sep 11Space: Small Gallery

Bam – ‘A Girl and her Dog’

“My pictures, whether at the beach or on the farm, are a snapshot in time. Rather than think when or where, ask how do they make me feel? And if you have been lucky enough to have a dog as a friend, you may feel some connection.”

Robyn – ‘The Waiting Room’

“In The Waiting Room, as the minutes tick by, initial anticipation gradually dissolves into detachment. In this series of paintings, I set out to capture the body language and subtle gestures that reveal something of the thoughts and feelings of the subjects as they wait.”

Opening night Friday August 29th 5-7pm.
