Fiona is a Mixed Media Artist based in Hawkes Bay. She completed her diploma in Art and Creativity after receiving a scholarship through The Learning Connexion and has had a number of successful exhibitions where she specialised in mixed media paintings.

After a few years hiatus, she has now turned her hand to creating one of a kind unique wall hangings using nature as her canvas. Every piece is carefully crafted using recycled and found items, incorporating air plants to signify new life given to each piece.

“I love hunting for items…..beach combing, bush walks, getting back to nature, then using recycled items from taps to ballcocks, copper, metal and anything else I can get my hands on to create one off pieces.”
