Abstract art has always had the greatest appeal for Cap Jacobs. His artistic goal is to create visually arresting abstract paintings in the minimalist tradition, with color as an integral component.

As an ex-pat American, living in New Zealand for the past 32 years has provided Cap with a rich multi-cultural experience and artistic fabric that, while not deliberately an explicit part of his paintings, are in his soul and thus are contained within his art.
