Organised Chaos

Sacred Heart College

Date: Jun 1 – Jun 30Space: Workshop

An exhibition of works created and donated by the Level 3 Painters at Sacred Heart College Napier.

After 2 successful exhibitions in 2023 and 2024 displaying large abstract works, we decided to produce a new series. Organised Chaos is a display of works produced in a collaborative manner where every student has made their mark in some form in the background of each work. Then they chose one base to work on independently and finished the work in their own style.

Our vision for the exhibition encompasses our school’s HEART values (Hope, Equity, Aroha, Respect and Tenacity) and the Catholic Social Teachings of distributive justice so that all can flourish, human dignity, participation and the preferential option for the poor and vulnerable.

Providing aid and support is a major part of our school ethos and values.

All works are for sale with the profit going directly to the financial aid of the Hawkes bay Women’s Refuge.
