Small Seascapes for Little Spaces

by Mike Quill

Date: Mar 1 – Mar 31Space: Foyer

Mike Quill is a Napier artist who has returned to painting in earnest after a professional life in the fields of graphic design, photography, illustration and teaching visual art. He creates both realist and abstract works with the ocean being the central theme. This exhibition is of both acrylic and oil paintings and has been curated from work dating back to 2016.

The size of these works make them ideal for the little nooks, crannies and wall spaces we find around the home, those that are in need of a little colour!

Mike’s hope is that the work he does inspires others to connect with their own creative spirit and to find joy and beauty in the world around them.
