Abundance – An Art Deco Reflection
by Lisa Loveday
Date: Feb 1 – Feb 28Space: Workshop
This exhibition explores Lisa’ s ongoing fascination with geometric form, drawing inspiration from the bold shapes, symmetry, and rhythmic lines of Art Deco design.
A recurring bowl motif appears throughout the series. As a gardener and passionate foodie, Lisa uses this form as a symbol of nourishment and generosity, referencing the fertile abundance of Hawke’s Bay. Through geometry, pattern, and curated use of colour, the works celebrate Napier and the wider Hawke’s Bay
