For the Love of Lino

Group Printmaking Exhibition

Date: Nov 29 – Dec 12Space: Workshop

A group exhibition by the 2024 Ink Moth Print Studio linocut printmakers

For the love of Lino is a group exhibition by the talented artists that participated in beginners Linocut evening classes this year.

Please feel welcome to join us to celebrate the opening of ‘For the Love of Lino’ on Friday 29 November, 5-7pm. Meet the artists and find out more about Linocut classes at CAN!

The work on display is the result of the beginners’ investigation into multi-block printing with lino – a technique where each layer of colour is printed from a separate carved block.

During their sessions the students have developed strong friendships and developed a thriving passion for printmaking. They have experienced the highs and lows of working through challenges and frustration to achieve their desired result and have been rewarded with happy accidents along the way.

Printmaking is a medium that offers boundless possibilities, and endless scope for learning. This exhibition is a celebration of the group’s achievements, and an opportunity for them to share their success with family and friends.

Lino for Beginners evening classes are tutored by artist Lisa Feyen of Ink Moth Print Studio. If you are interested in joining a future class visit www.lisafeyen.com for information and to sign up for Lisa’s e- newsletter.
