“This is my first solo exhibit where I got to experiment with acrylics, painting mediums, colour and composition.  I also played around with themes as I was heavily inspired by music while I painted.  My most notable inspiration in music would have been Taylor Swift. She has variety of songs and I listen to almost all of it. My exhibition ‘August Slipped Away Into a Moment in Time’ is inpsired by her song called August.

I have painted before but mostly on paper that never really saw the light of day. And this will be the first time that I have painted with such seriousness and dedication. And also the first time where I will get to showcase my collective paintings in a gallery. Through a lot of loops and hoops and getting distracted by a lot of things, I am finally able to focus on painting.”  Ella Mandac
