Serenity in Presence embodies the idea of transforming moments of stillness and Introspection into vibrant yet calm works of art. Colour becomes both form and emotion and invites the viewer to find moments of reflection, self-awareness, and authenticity in themselves. 

Chloe Nielsen is an artist and graphic designer based in Napier. Though currently she focuses more on graphic design, she still enjoys making art when she can.  Chloe mainly works with acrylic, oil, and gouache but is always open to working with different mediums when possible. She also works across a variety of different styles, but her work tends to focus more on human busts with vibrant colours and sometimes with a bit of abstract elements. These types of works connect with Chloe as they have always invoked a sense of calm and self-reflection within herself.
