Abstraction, colour, collage, (combines), oil and acrylics are all disciplines that inform Brent Treacher’s artistic practice. Brent has had a lifelong interest in art and enjoys the opportunities that come through experimentation, learning, and practice. In 2017, he graduated from the Eastern Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Visual Art and Design. Collaborating and learning with other creative artists was an incredible experience that helped him evolve as an artist. In Brent’s practice, investigation and trial and error are fundamental aspects of what he does. (Movement), drip, push, pull.

Artist Statement:

“I am standing, the sun shines bright, golden yellow, warmth. There’s a gentle breeze. In the distance, blue, green, turquoise, the oceans, horizon. My feet are firmly planted, I have balance, harmony. I am searching for perfection. I look down to my feet, I look up to the heavens. I AM perfection.” Brent Treacher
