This stunning work Blue Sky Headdress donated by mosaic artist Jane Brimblecombe is a real treasure.

Jane has exhibited her work since 1999 and had her first solo at the NZ Academy of Fine Arts in 2001. She has exhibited her work in many group exhibitions including those of the Academy and Shelly Bay artists. Jane is an Elected Artist Member of the Academy and former curator/exhibitions manager.

Jane’s work is in New York, Canada, Australia, London and Europe. Commissions and sales include works for The British High Commission in Wellington, 14 pieces for the QT Hotel Apartments, Goethe Institute, local and international celebrities, and numerous private commissions. In 2012 her work sold to the James Wallace Art Trust for the permanent collection. In 2019 Jane completed a major commission for the new Wellington Airport, Rydges Hotel, a 3 x 6 metre mosaic mirror glass wall depicting pre European Wellington.
