Painterly Woodcuts with Kathy Boyle

Join us for the November Masterclass in our weekend workshop series, and learn how to create painterly woodcuts with expert printmaker Kathy Boyle.
You will learn how to make your own woodcut using Kathy’s own developed technique for printing in a painterly style. Materials will be provided at an additional cost (TBC), payable on the day.
Cost: $90 for 2 days, plus a materials fee (TBC) payable to Kathy on the day.
Date: Saturday and Sunday 18 & 19 November 2017.
Time: 10.30am – 3.30pm.
Bring your lunch, tea and coffee is available in the CAN kitchen.

About Kathy Boyle:
Kathy Boyle is an established New Zealand visual artist working across several disciplines including printmaking, mixed media and installation.
Kathy has been printmaking for about 16 years, is a founding member of the Central Print Council of Aotearoa New Zealand (now Print Council Aotearoa New ZeaIand) and is currently the chairperson of PCANZ.
Alongside her art practice Kathy draws on 30 years teaching experience to provide printmaking and mixed media workshops for artists and teachers. She is also a visiting art teacher in schools.
Kathy’s work is held in private and corporate collections in New Zealand, as well as private collections in Australia, UK and USA.
