An exhibition of unexpected detail
Date: Aug 7 – Aug 20Space: Small Gallery
Niel Coetzee was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and has been an artist at heart all of his life.
He gave up on art while labouring about 6 years ago, but his unexpected skill for detailed work was discovered while teaching his younger brother how to draw;
‘I had forgotten why I did art and what brought me to stop. However something I always tell my little brother, and I believe it is as true for him as it is for you: Any piece of art can never be badly done, for it is a reflection of your perspective that can improve.’
Join Niel to celebrate the opening of his exhibition on Friday 7 August, 5-7pm. All welcome! Light refreshments will be served.
Niel’s work will be on display in the Small Gallery for two weeks in August.
