IMMERSE Twin Luminaries Exhibition
Date: Oct 26 – Nov 7Space: Main Gallery
A unique Hawke’s Bay array of artistic expression, immersing visitors in rich new art works inspired by quotes from the ‘Twin Luminaries’.
This free public exhibition, open from 26th October (closed 28/10) is part of the global celebrations of the 200th anniversaries of the births of Bahá’u’lláh (1817) and the Báb (1819) – the founders of the Bahá’í Faith.
Artists from throughout Hawke’s Bay and New Zealand were invited and given six quotes by the ‘Twin Luminaries’ for their inspiration. What were the quotes? What have they created and why? Bring a friend, come and see. ‘Twin Luminaries’ follows the first ‘Immerse’ exhibition in October, 2017.
