If you love print, you will love this!
Join us as we celebrate the diversity of printmaking with ‘East Side Story 3’… and this is a story; the tale of a local community printmaking group as they come together to show the best of their most recent work.
The Hawke’s Bay Inkers meet regularly to share their passion for the medium. The result is lively monthly open studio where they encourage each other, work together on their individual projects and participate in workshops with visiting practioners. The group has been actively growing and evolving since it was established in 2016, with ‘East Side Story 3’ being their third annual exhibition.
From woodcuts to solar plate etching, linocuts to letterpress, classic to contemporary; there will be something here to inspire everyone, so take your time to fully enjoy the variety of framed and 3D work on show.
If you’re tempted maybe delve into the sales table of unframed prints to see what bargains you can find too. All work is for sale at very reasonable prices.
The participating artists are:
Terrie Reddish, Bev Trillo, Cate Godwin, Julz Henderson, Gail Spence, Ingrid Schloemer, Jill Webster, Catherine Hines, Julienne Dickey, Angela Lalonde, Bev Pawluk, Kathy Boyle, Pam Hastings, Rachael Stone, Lisa Feyen, Rosalie Thompson, Lynne Wilburn, Nic Tucker, and Amanda Blewett.
